Meet the Team
Tamra Brown
Office Manager
“I love making people smile and building relationships with our patients. We have a great team that feels like a family and our patients are part of that!”
Tamra joined our practice in 2007, having started in the dental field in 2001. She wears lots of hats in our office, from assisting the doctor and supporting patients during procedures to managing the staff. Her goal, like the rest of our team, is to keep our patients smiling!
Victoria Saykally, DDS
Associate Dentist
Dr. Victoria Saykally, a Bay Area native, found her passion for dentistry while completing her bachelor’s degree at University of Washington. She discovered that dentistry allowed her to combine her love of art and interest in the sciences while also provide her with a platform to give back to her community. She studied Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology, as well as Global Health while working as a dental assistant. After completing her degree, Dr. Saykally moved back to the Bay Area and worked as a research associate at a virology lab at UCSF, participating in the publication of multiple papers researching HIV and Cytomegalovirus. Dr. Saykally went on to complete her doctorate degree at University of the Pacific in San Francisco. During this time, she led and participated in numerous dental outreach trips, both locally and abroad. She decided to receive further training by completing a hospital-based residency at VA Palo Alto and Stanford Hospital. During this residency, she focused on providing patient-centered comprehensive care to veterans, dental clearance for medically complex patients, and facial and dental emergency care to pediatric and adult patients. When not practicing in Tiburon, Dr. Saykally also practices part time as an attending dentist at VA Palo Alto, providing comprehensive care to veterans and training dental residents.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Saykally is an avid skier (you can find her many weekends in the winter at Tahoe) and hunter/jumper equestrian. She enjoys spending her free time with her dog, Piper, and horse, Navy.
Lauren McCormick, DDS
Associate Dentist
As a healthcare provider, I am passionate about creating a warm and
welcoming environment for my patients. I believe every dental visit
should be a positive and educational experience, and I take the time
to ensure my patients understand the best practices for maintaining
lifelong oral and general health.
I was first inspired to enter the field of dentistry in high school—it
was after attending a speakers’ series of healthcare professionals,
and from the encouragement of my own childhood dentist who taught me
the importance of being a gentle, caring practitioner.
After that time, I worked and shadowed in various dental offices while
earning my undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University in the
field of bioengineering with a minor in public health. I then attended
University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco where I
was inducted into the Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society which inducts the
Top 20% of Class. I continued my training through a General Practice
Residency at the VA Northern California Healthcare System in Vallejo,
where I provided comprehensive care for a wide range of veteran
patients.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time on crafty outlets such as
ceramics and baking. You can find me spending time in the parks around
San Francisco, trying new restaurants, reading, and relaxing with my
two tuxedo cats, Toni and Georgie.
Teena Walsh-Boelter
Registered Dental Hygienist
Teena Boelter graduated from the University of the Pacific in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Santa Rosa Junior College in 2002. With over two decades of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Teena has built her career around providing exceptional care and building lasting relationships with her patients.
Passionate about her work, Teena finds the most rewarding part of her
profession to be creating positive, comfortable experiences for patients and
helping them understand the importance of maintaining good oral health. She
takes pride in educating patients about how oral care contributes to their
overall well-being and enjoys seeing their confidence grow as they take an
active role in their dental health.
Teena is originally from Southern California, but she considers Marin her
home after almost 20 years in the area. Outside of the office, Teena has been
happily married to her college sweetheart, Mark, for 18 years. Although they
don’t have children, their French Bulldog, Chubbs, more than fills that role—
lovingly ruling their household. Teena and Mark spend much of their free time
visiting their nine nieces and nephews, who keep them entertained and
remind them of the joy of family. Family is at the heart of Teena’s life, and she
brings that same sense of warmth, care, and connection to her work every
day.
